Patient advocacy is an area of specialization in health care concerned with advocacy for patients, survivors, and caregivers.

We believe that a coordinated effort to provide resources to patients in most need, during this challenging time of their life, can mean a lot of the patients, and that is why we have designated an individual with personal experience to our clinic to be the voice of such patients and while promoting our efforts to meet their well deserved needs, be able to communicate well for them and be their voice. While his goal is not to be involved with diagnosis and treatment of disease — he tries his best to helping them coordinate with medical professionals, working with them to make informed choices, or even helping them find the right path to get the right support.

Mark, also has been involved as a husband of a patient with cancer, in all aspects of care, from conventional to research environments and can share his view of challenges facing a patient and a family involved with such crucial and sensitive care. Please contact him if you have any questions or concerns or even just  athought you need to share with someone. He is open to constructively try to resolve your problem through an open and transparent but yet confidential dialogue .

He has a passion for helping others and is a voracious reader of various modalities of treatment. He believes the mind and body are miraculous healing mechanisms that never stop to amaze us and hope with a positive mindset is always at the forefront of wellness. Mark is a graduate of Business with a Finance background from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Mark has experience working in automotive and aerospace industries. He will be the first to admit to being somewhat of a fitness nut and recreational triathlete enjoying to swim, bike and run. In 2016, he decided to run to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back up for fun…18 miles and 7 thousand feet of elevation of fun. In 2017, he traveled southeastern Asia to the Philippines, Indonesia and China.


In Sahel Oncology, the patient care comes first. The president of the company has made this mission clear to all, that since it’s birth, the quality of care was never to be negotiable both in research as well as clinics, therefore all team members work collaboratively to assure that patients receive the care they deserve not only in the clinical trials but also off the trial if they need the medications. That is another reason, Sahel is working closely with a foundation to support it’s cause and provide meaningful support to patients when they are short of help. Many patients so far have received treatments and financial support through the foundation,( including international patients who could only afford to be in US and in the clinic, to receive therapies  by such means provided by the foundation). Examples are many….Sahel has committed itself to accelerate approvals in all regions globally to assure ease of access to the therapy where the patients need.
